KARLA MAGRUDER

FOUNDER

Karla has been in the textile industry for more than 30 years with global experience from  fiber to finished garments. She has in-depth experience with sustainable fibers and materials; developing strategies, bring new products to market and convening groups to accelerate growth.  She founded fabrikology international in 2003 where she has led her team in both for-profit and non-profit work.  She is currently a member of Textile Exchange’s Governance board and an advisory board member of the Sustainable Textile School.

ELAYNE MASTERSON

COLLABORATING PARTNER

Elayne has extensive knowledge of sustainability strategy, initiatives and implementation, product development, garment manufacturing, sourcing, merchandis​ing, and in depth understanding of the US brand/retail industry. Elayne served Textile Exchange as Board Chair for 6 years and continues as Senior Advisor, and lead for the rPET working group. She has previously been Director of Merchandising for Esquel Apparel, CMO of Wet Seal, Vice President Sourcing and Product Development at the Disney Store and Director at Express. Elayne has a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. Elayne has extensive experience from fiber to garment.
